Working line

I think it is a little hard imagine how will be my life in 10 or even 5 years. I hope that I will get a job related with my field, if nowadays it is difficult to find a work in some year I think it is going to be harder.
As an economist it is difficult or even impossible to work by you own, normally you have to work for someone, in some company, as a teacher, etc. You have to have a boss and maybe after some years you can promote to a better place in your work.
One of the companies that I would like to work is CFC (Comisión Federal de Competencia). It is a company that try to ensure that the companies work in a competitive way, if they work like that the prices are going to be competitive, that means that are going to be lower than if the companies make agreements for establish the prices. In this company also approve when two companies that play the same work or do the same products want to link each other and work as one. The companies present their plans to the CFC, obviously they do not express their real intensions, and the CFC have to research and analyze deeply to give an answer.
I would like work there because is a way to control de power of different companies that want to increase their proceeds giving their products or services in a price that is by far bigger than the cost of produce them.
I believe that this is a really good job for me because you have to apply a big part of your knowledge; you have to research and analyze different information to take a decision that can affect not only at the company it also affects to the consumers. For me it is great because you can do something against the power of big companies and try to establish reasonable prices.
Maybe in some years I will be working there, doing something that I really like.
But work is not all, it is part of life but also there is more. Get married and have kids are not in my plans, maybe in more than 10 years. Before do that I want to enjoy life with friends, family and by myself.
I want do the things that I like, if I do that I will be happy. Not always the things happen as you want but try to get the best of them can make you feel better. I want my life to be like this but I do not know what can happen, for now I happy with what I have, I enjoy it and in some years my life is going to be so much different but I hope I will be happy.

Brave New World

  • In the future the author depicts London as a really big city with huge buildings; it’s a very sophisticated city.
  • The motto on the building represents the ideology of a community that has a singular identity; this is indispensable to keep the stability of the sociality.
  • There is not a natural selection because the natural process of reproduction is made for Scientifics who modify the embryos as much as they want.
  • If I had to decide who clone I would chose healthy people, creative people, between 20-50 years old, not lazy people and doesn’t matter how they look.

Conditional

Your boyfriend/ girlfriend/ husband/ wife has just bought some new clothes which he/she thinks are wonderful. You think they look ridiculous. What would you do?
If my boyfriend bought some new clothes which he thinks are wonderful but I think they look ridiculous I would tell him the truth, obviously I would try not to say it in an offensive way. I would say to him: "I think that these new clothes don’t look so good, you should change them if you want I can go with you to change them or buy new ones." If he, even then, wanted to wear his clothes I would say that they are really ridiculous and he should wear something more serious. But if he accepted my help I would chose nicer clothes for him.
